GUWAHATI: The police seized a significant amount of ganja and apprehended one individual allegedly in connection in Lalung Gaon, Guwahati on December 3.
In an operation, a team from Gorchuk Police Station, part of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD), apprehended one Khagen Dahal aged 52 from Harisinga. The arrest transpired after Dahal was caught red-handed with a substantial amount of ganja, weighing 15.80 kilogram, at Lalung Gaon earlier yesterday.
The action taken by the police team resulted in the immediate detention of Khagen Dahal, and legal proceedings have been initiated against him.
