Guwahati: A 13-year-old boy, resident of Kumarpara, who attended the IPL match at ACA Stadium, Barsapara, on Sunday, May 19 has reportedly gone missing.
The incident came to light when the boy failed to return home after the match was abandoned. According to the boy's family, they last contacted him through his friend's phone at around 5:30 PM. They believe he may have been dropped far from his home location.
The family has launched a search, distributing photos and information about the missing minor. They have also lodged a complaint with the Bharalumukh police station.
An official from the Bharalumukh Police Station confirmed the complaint and stated that an investigating officer has been assigned to the case. "The search is on," the official said, adding that there is a possibility of a family quarrel being behind the boy's disappearance.
