In an investigation drive conducted by the Excise Dept on Tuesday, one Tata Magic vehicle bearing registration number AS-25-BC-0422 has been seized along with 1200 litres of country liquor at Adabari.
The seized alcohol were being carried from Goreshwar towards Ulubari, Guwahati.
Excise Dept has also arrested the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Bhupen Boro.
The drive was carried out under the supervision of Excise Officer Naba Buragohain and Wasim Akram.
