GUWAHATI: Basistha temple in Guwahati lit 1,11,111 diyas to commemorate the completion of a year of Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s ‘Pran Pratishtha’, on Wednesday, January 22. Devotees gathered at the temple to take part in various activities such as rangoli making and more to mark the occasion.

Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple was held on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) where the idol of Rama's childhood form (Ramlala) was consecrated. The consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir began at 12:15 pm IST and ended at 12:45 pm on January 22, 2024. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, was chosen as the chief host of the ceremony. Over 7000 guests from across India and abroad were invited for the event, including actors, politicians, bureaucrats, businessmen, spiritual leaders, athletes.
