GUWAHATI: As part of preparations for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations, city authorities have directed the Guwahati Utilities Company Limited (GUCL) and Guwahati Smart City Limited (GSCL) to identify and illuminate dark spots along key roads across the city.

In addition, the Smart City Corporation has begun installing 100 high-tech CCTV cameras along GS Road, equipped with advanced AI and facial recognition technology.
