GUWAHATI:A worker engaged at the construction site of the bridge connecting Guwahati and North Guwahati reportedly fell into the Brahmaputra River on Tuesday, October 11.
The 22-year-old man, identified as Shahrukh Ali, is a resident of Dhirenpara in Guwahati.
According to an official from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), a search and rescue operation is being undertaken to find the worker. As the whereabouts of the worker are still not known, and hence, no confirmation of his death has been made yet, said an SDRF official.
