GUWAHATI: A woman suffered burn injuries after a fire broke out inside a sweetmeat shop on Navagraha Road near Silpukhuri on Monday, April 8.

The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m.
The victim has been identified as Baby Devi.

Talking to GPlus, a senior official from the Fire Department said, "The fire was triggered by a cylinder blast. The explosion led to the ignition of the surrounding area, engulfing at least two rooms in flames."
