GUWAHATI: Under section 52(1) of Assam Excise Act, 2000, the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup (M), Biswajit Pegu, declared that all retail IMFL 'ON/"OFF'/Club licenses and all the country spirit shops of Kamrup Metropolitan District will remain closed until 4 PM on 21st March, 2019 for the preservation of public peace in view of Holi.
Hence, all liquor retail shops under the Metropolitan District shall remain closed on the above-mentioned time and date.
