We are firm on Passing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill: Himanta Biswa Sarma

GUWAHATI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Himanta Biswa Sarma in a press meet in Guwahati where alliance partner Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) was present, too, said that the saffron party is firm on Passing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.
 
Sarma said that AGP leaders and BJP chief Amit Shah will meet and discuss seat sharing for the Polls and a similar meeting will be held later with the Bodoland People's Front (BPF).
 
"One common statement will be issued where AGP, BJP and BPF will sign in the presence of the CM Sarbanda Sonowal", he added. 

The exact seat sharing formula will be announced on March 16 after a discussion with Party President Amit Shah.

"Under PM Modi's leadership we had unprecedented development in the entire northeast hence we are working towards for the second term of Modi Govt", said Himanta Biswa Sarma.
