GUWAHATI: India’s Got Latent audience member reveals what happened after the ‘viral’ joke. He took to Instagram to explain what actually happened.

He said that Ranveer Allahbadia apologised to the contestant after cracking the joke, and also reportedly walked up to the stage and hugged him asking if everything was alright. The same contestant ended up winning the show.

Multiple FIRs were filed against Allahbadia, along with other members of the show. SC has granted Ranveer protection from arrest. The apex court has also barred him and his associates from airing any further shows, and has asked him to surrender his passport.
