GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) recently announced an initiative to clean spit stains that have been plaguing the city for a long time now.
GMC Commissioner MN Dahal was left wondering why people have to chew tamul and spit when it could be swallowed, instead. "Even I swallow it," he remarked.
But Guwahati's residents seem to love painting the town red, literally.
