Guwahati's leading English media brand GPlus, which organizes the Guwahati Food Awards, is all set to unveil the 9th edition of the Guwahati Food Awards. The gala night is scheduled for January 27, 2024, at Vivanta, Guwahati.
Voting lines for Guwahati Food Awards 2023 are now closed. Food enthusiasts have actively been a part of this exciting journey by participating in the voting process for their favourite restaurants across various categories.
The public has engaged in the voting process for their favourite nominee restaurants, using the GPlus App, available for free on the Google Play store and App Store.
In this edition, Guwahati Food Awards has received over 20,000 votes. People went on the GPlus App, where they cast their votes for their favourite restaurants in as many as 32 categories.
This year, the Guwahati Food Awards garnered an impressive 150+ nominations across 32 award categories from over 60 enterprises, covering the entire spectrum of the city's vibrant food service.
This year, the jury members included Aabhishek Bedi Varma, Rachit Saboo, Kashmiri Barkakati Nath, and Anuradha Saikia who have been a part of Guwahati’s rich eating gastronomic culture as restaurateurs, business owners and chefs, who visited the shortlisted restaurants to try out their signature dishes and provide them scores accordingly.
The evaluations consisting of public voting and jury scores, will contribute to the cumulative scores. The top winners in each category will be honoured for their exceptional quality and service on January 27, 2024, at Vivanta, Guwahati.
The Guwahati Food Awards 2023 is hosted in association with United Spirits Limited and supported by Indane from Indian Oil Assam State AOD, Indian Bank, Guwahati Municipal Corporation, North East Skill Centre, Purabi Dairy, and Magik Cook.
