GUWAHATI: Legendary playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away at the age of 74 due to COVID-19. He breathed his last at 1.04 pm in MGM Healthcare, Chennai on 25th September.
Popularly known as SPB, he enthralled millions of Indians with his captivating voice rendered in more than 40,000 songs.
Besides singing in Bollywood blockbusters like 'Maine Pyar Kiya, Roja and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! amongst others, he also sang in movies of 16 other languages.
