UPSC Final Result Announced, Aditya Srivastava Secures First Rank

 

GUWAHATI: The result of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil services examination 2023 was announced on April 16 with Aditya Srivastava topping the list of 1016 successful candidates.

Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy secured the second and third positions respectively, as revealed by the UPSC on their official website.

The UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Examination 2023 was conducted on May 28 last year, followed by the UPSC Mains examination that was conducted on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2023.

Candidates who cleared the mains were called for the interview round which was conducted between January 4 and April 9.

Of the 1,016 recommended candidates, as many as 347 are from the general category, 115 are from the EWS category, 303 candidates are from the OBC category and from SC and ST, the number of recommended candidates are 165 and 86 respectively.

Candidates who score above the cut-off marks will be recruited to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services and posts.
