GUWAHATI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently released the final answer key and results for the UGC NET December 2024 exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The exam was conducted from January 3 to January 27 over nine days in 16 shifts across 558 exam centres in 266 cities. A total of 8,49,166 candidates registered for the exam, of which 6,49,490 appeared.
As per the results, 5,158 candidates have qualified for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship. Meanwhile, 48,161 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professorship, and 1,14,445 candidates have been deemed eligible for PhD admissions only.

- Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- Click on the link for the UGC NET Answer Key December 2024 or results
- Enter your application number and date of birth, then submit
- The final answer key and result will appear in PDF format
- Download and save it for future reference
Each question in the UGC NET exam carried two marks, with no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted questions. The result will not be re-evaluated or re-checked, as it is based on the final answer key. The record of the UGC NET December 2024 result will be preserved for 90 days from the date of declaration.
The UGC NET is held twice a year, in June and December, for the recruitment of Assistant Professors, awarding of JRF, and PhD admissions.
