GUWAHATI: A team from the Crime Branch, along with staff from Pan Bazar Police Station, arrested two drug peddlers on Tuesday, December 3, at No. 3 Rail Gate. The operation was carried out following an intelligence tip-off about drug trafficking in the area.

The arrested individuals were identified as Rohit Mahato (24) from Muzaffarpur, and a minor from Bilasipara.
The authorities seized six vials of suspected heroin, weighing 8.18 grams, and one mobile handset from the suspects.
Further investigation is ongoing.
