GUWAHATI: Two young men were arrested by the Fatasil Ambari police on Sunday, February 2, for attempting to steal a battery from a stolen e-rickshaw at Budhbar Bazaar.

The suspects, identified as Rafik Ali (18) and Rahul Badsha (18), were caught red-handed while trying to remove the battery.
The police recovered several stolen items from the suspects, including:
- Stolen scooty
- 2 duplicate e-rickshaw lock keys
- 2 screwdrivers, 1 salai wrench, 12 wrenches
- 1 wire cutter, 1 knife
- 2 mobile phones
Both the scooty and e-rickshaw were reportedly stolen by Ali and Badsha.
Legal action has been initiated against the two individuals, and further investigation is underway.
