GUWAHATI: Guwahati police recently intercepted a truck at Beharbari while it was attempting to smuggle stolen items.

The operation, carried out by Basistha Police Station, was based on specific intelligence.
Two individuals, Rijabul Ali (26) from Katahbari and Salim Uddin (54) from Sualkuchi, were arrested.
During the interception, authorities seized-
- Copper wires- 2Quintal.
- Aluminium wires- 1.5 Quintal
- Aluminium utensils
- Brass items
- Water taps
- Vehicle parts
- Old AC parts
Legal action has been initiated against the accused, and further investigations are underway.
