GUWAHATI: Guwahati Police on Sunday, February 23, issued traffic regulations for February 24, 25, and 26 to ensure public convenience and safety during the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit.

Set to take place at Sarusajai Sports Complex and Khanapara Veterinary Field, the decision has been taken to facilitate smooth movement for vulnerable road users, including children, students, senior citizens, and differently-abled individuals during the time of the event.
Additionally, the regulations will now allow unobstructed passage for emergency services such as ambulances and fire tenders.
For the Jhumoir Binandini event at Sarusajai Sports Complex, spectators with GOLD vehicle passes will enter through Gate No. 1B, with parking designated near the Indoor Stadium. Those with DROP-OFF passes will also use Gate No. 1B but must vacate the premises after alighting passengers.
Specific entry points and parking zones have been designated to avoid congestion during the event as well.
Authorities have urged the public to follow the guidelines and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure smooth vehicular movement. The full set of rules and regulations imposed can be found here:
