Actor Shubrajyoti Barat who is known for his roles in television series Mirzapur and film Article 15 will be performing at the GPlus Guwahati Theatre Festival 2024 in September.

Barat played the role of Rati Shankar Shukla, Pankaj Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya’s rival in season one of Mirzapur.
In Article 15, Barat plays the crucial role of Chandrabhan, a constable driver.
The seventh edition of Guwahati Theatre Festival will be held on September 27, 28 and 29, 2024, at the Pragjyoti ITA in Machkhowa.
Shubrajyoti Barat is part of the opening show of the festival “Puraane Chawal” which will be performed on September 27, Friday.
Directed by Sumeet Vyas and produced by D for Drama, Puraane Chawal is the Hindi adaptation of Neil Simon’s classic, “The Sunshine Boys.”
It is a blend of nostalgia, humour, and drama in a reimagined classic set in contemporary Mumbai.
The cast of the play includes Kumud Mishra, Shubhrajyoti Barat, Ghanshyam Lalsa, Anamika, Kirti Soni, Prashant Pandey and Divyendu Saurav.
