Suresh Raina will not be playing in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). Citing personal reasons, the cricketer returned from UAE to India.
Chennai Super Kings' CEO KS Viswanathan took to twitter to announce Raina's return. "Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time," the post stated.

Earlier this month, on 15th of August, Suresh Raina announced his retirement from international cricket following former captain of the Indian cricket team M S Dhoni.
The Chennai Super Kings team is currently in UAE to participate in the upcoming season of IPL to be held from 19th of September.
