GUWAHATI: Along with the rest of India here in Guwahati too, people came out from their homes to make reverberating sounds in order to appreciate the efforts taken up by our administration along with the Doctors and Nurses across the country in this epidemic crisis.
However excited Guwahatians go to the next level by bursting crackers and also assembling together on roof tops and on the road to participate in the nation wide exercise at 5:00 PM.
Reports have come from parts of the city that people are bursting crackers, playing loud music also and were seen dancing and chanting "Modi- Modi."
On the contrary, the Centre along with each of the heads of states had repeatedly appealed to general public to maintain social distance as a preventive measure.
Meanwhile, Police and Fire Brigade also played the siren supporting the noble cause.
