GUWAHATI: Silpukhuri Park is all set to undergo a long-awaited makeover in January.
Talking to GPlus, a senior official from the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) said, "The construction work is scheduled to kick off in January"
"The construction work of the park will be completed by the end of 2024."
As part of the revamp, Silpukhuri Park will welcome new play equipment tailored for children, ensuring a space for children. Additionally, a yoga area will be incorporated, offering a serene spot for fitness enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation.
While the official said that the revamped park will follow a theme, the specifics are being kept under wraps for now.
The budget allocated for the new project is estimated to be around ₹90 lakh.
