In a meeting headed by District Development Commissioner (DDC) on Friday, it was decided that a flying squad will be set up for upcoming Rongali Bihu, in Guwahati, to check on the selling of Gamosas produced outside the state.
It was decided during the meeting that no one will be allowed to sell Gamosa produced outside Assam, within Kamrup (M).
The decision has been taken by the District Administration to benefit the local producers of the state.
