GUWAHATI: The Assam Home Department announced several transfers and postings in the Assam Police on July 7.

Some of the key changes are as follows:
-Satya Raj Hazarika, IPS, Inspector General of Police (BTAD) has been transferred as Inspector General of Police (NER). He will also hold the additional charge of Inspector General of Police (ER).
- Vivek Raj Singh, IPS, will hold the additional charge of Inspector General of Police (BTAD).
- Indrani Barua, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police (CID) has been transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police (CWR).
- Ankur Jain, IPS, has been posted as Commandant, 10 APBn.
- Aparna Natarajan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, has been transferred to Special Branch (SOU).
- Pankaj Yadav, IPS, Superintendent of Police (V & AC-I), has been transferred to Vigilance & Anti-Corruption.
