GUWAHATI: Renowned sculptor, painter and artist Dilip Bhusan Sarma passed away today, October 13.
Based on reports, he died of a heart attack.
His work can be seen in a lot of government offices, including the Assam Secretariat and in many places across the northeast region.

He has even produced some pieces that can be found in the capital of the country, New Delhi.
Known as an immensely talented artist, Sarma even crafted some paintings in an effort to inspire children who are fighting cancer.
He was well-known among the populace as the modern sculptor of Assam and the northeast region.
