GUWAHATI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday detained a suspect linked to the Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe blast case, as per media reports.

The individual detained has been identified as Shabbir who was apprehended in Ballari, Karnataka, as per reports.

On March 1, an IED blast in the famous Rameshwaram Café in the Whitefield area of Bengaluru reportedly injured over nine people.
The NIA on March 8 put up a post on X requesting citizen’s help to identify the suspect who was captured in several CCTV camera footages.
