GUWAHATI: Early trends in the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency suggest that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is on track to secure a decisive victory in her first-ever electoral contest. As of 2:00 p.m., the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate is leading with a significant margin, having garnered 612,020 votes.

Sathyan Mokeri of the Communist Party of India (CPI) trails with 207,401 votes, down by 404,619 from Gandhi's tally. Meanwhile, Navya Haridas of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is further behind with 108,080 votes, showing a drop of 503,940 votes.
The Wayanad constituency went to the polls on November 13, with a total of 952,543 votes cast.
