It has continually prioritized the importance of international exposure and collaboration, having sent over 1,000 students and professors abroad for various academic programs and hosting more than 500 international students and professors at the university.
As part of its globalization efforts, the university has established numerous collaborations, organized by its Center for International Relations and Research (CIRR), facilitating opportunities for students to travel overseas for summer school, master's projects, internships, and pathway programs, while also bringing international professors and students to the university.
