Assam's singer Angarag Papon Mahanta landed in controversies after a video in which he was seen planting a kiss on one of the contestants of The Voice Kids went viral on social media.
The act which was conceived inappropriate by several individuals was seen posted on Facebook walls calling his act 'shameful.'
Partha Gogoi, Manager of Papon, while speaking to G Plus, said that the act was not meant to hurt the sentiments of any individual, and that it was not wrong in any manner, which is why they see no reason to pul down the video from the official Facebook page of Papon.
Papon Fan Club (Paponist) on Thursday have lodged an FIR against 40 such social media accounts at Dipsur Police Station.
According to the fans, it's a pre planned conspiracy to defame the artist.
