GUWAHATI: In a recent development in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking, Udalguri Police announced the successful seizure of 219 kg Ganja. The operation, conducted on December 3, resulted in the arrest of one alleged peddler, along with the confiscation of a vehicle.
The incident took place at Phuhurabari under Udalguri Police Station. Law enforcement authorities have initiated lawful action against the apprehended individual, and investigations are actively underway to uncover any potential linkages associated with the seized contraband.
Udalguri Police took to X to put out a statement, which read, “#WarAgainstDrug Today Udalguri Police seized 219 KG suspected Ganja, arrested one peddler and seized a vehicle at Phuhurabari under Udalguri PS.
