GUWAHATI: Assam Cricket Association had announced on Thursday, January 5, 2022 that Offline tickets for the ODI to be hosted in Guwahati will available at the ticket counter at the Nehru Stadium, Ulubari between 11 AM to 6 PM. An individual can purchase up to an upper limit of 5 tickets each, for the ODI.
The Assam Cricket Association in a press meet at the ACA (Assam Cricket Association) Stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati addressed some concerns for the upcoming India vs Sri Lanka ODI match slated to be held at Guwahati on January 10, 2023.
ACA President Taranga Gogoi who presided over the meeting announced that a total of 17,000 tickets have been sold, thus far by making use of both online platforms and offline modes as well.
Speaking to the media, he further informed, “for the convenience of the ones finding it hard to buy tickets online, we have also made arrangements for offline sale of tickets starting from Wednesday within the premises of the Nehru stadium in Guwahati.”
It is to be mentioned that the last match hosted in Guwahati was between South Africa and India on 2nd October, 2022 where tickets were sold out within minutes of the announcement. It is to be mentioned T20 tickets have moved faster in the city and the stadium is yet to be fully booked for the ODI.
