GUWAHATI: The Drug Controller Of India reportedly approved a new type of eye drop, used for treating presbyopia (a condition whereby older people are unable to see objects at a closer distance) on August 4.

The new eye drops will reportedly help treat poor eyesight and eventually limit the dependency on reading glasses.
As per the developer of the eye drops, the drug named PresVu eye drops will be introduced to the domestic market in the first week of October.
