GUWAHATI: The Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra Nayab Singh Saini has been sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Haryana today, hours after Manohar Lal Khattar and his cabinet tendered their resignation after a break in the JJP-BJP alliance.

BJP’s alliance with the Jannayak Janata Party of Haryana ended abruptly today over differences in seat sharing in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as per reports. Haryana has a total of 10 Lok Sabha seats, which the BJP will be reportedly contesting alone now.
