GUWAHATI: A miscreant who trespassed into Cachar Paper Mill in Assam’s Barak Valley in Hailakandi District was shot dead by a security guard.
According to reports, the miscreant was a thief and the incident happened during a smash-and-grab attempt with the security guard inside the closed Mill.
The police stated that the miscreant might have had an accomplice, who ran away from the spot after during the firing.
