How do you arrive at solutions? Do you jump straight to finding answers, or should you first identify the right problem themes and ask the right questions? This core question drove discussions at the Problem Solvers Summit 2025, hosted at Maria’s Public School, Guwahati, for the second time.

Organised by Pratarka, a pan-India leader in critical thinking and structured learning, the Problem Solvers Summit 2025 served as a visibility practice of its flagship program—SpeakINDIA - which integrates structured learning frameworks in educational institutions, that enhance students' ability to think analytically, communicate effectively, and engage meaningfully with the world around them.

The event emphasised problem identification over instant solutions, urging students to ask the right questions before seeking answers. Through rigorous discussions, expert mentorship, and interactive sessions, participants sharpened their ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and lead with purpose.

This year’s summit featured committees led by experts:

Bureaucracy – Luish Aind, IPS (Retd.)
Entrepreneurship – Sidharth Bedi Varma, CEO, GPlus
Social & Development – Supriya Khound, Sustainable Development Consultant
Journalism – Pratik Sinha, Co-Founder, Alt News
Advocacy – Ebo Mili, Advocate & Human Rights Defender

Mausumi Mahanta, Principal, Maria’s Public School, said “In the 21st century, the path to progress lies in cultivating critical thinking to discern truth, problem-solving to navigate complexity, and ethical leadership to inspire trust. Only by aligning wisdom with integrity can we overcome global challenges and shape a future of justice, innovation, and shared prosperity. Together with  Pratarka we hope to provide a platform for the holistic growth of our students.”
