GUWAHATI: The main accused in the recent demise of a 19-year-old girl named Maya Gogoi in Bengaluru was reportedly arrested by the police on November 29.

The accused Aarav Hanoy was arrested outside Karnataka after being on the run for over three days, as per reports.
The body of Maya Gogoi, who hailed from Guwahati, was earlier found in an apartment in Bengaluru on November 26. A CCTV footage later showed Hannoy leaving the apartment alone early Tuesday morning.
The accused had reportedly been in a relationship with the deceased for six months. A postmortem report had revealed later that the crime had occurred on the night of November 24, and that he had stayed with the body for almost 2 days.
