GUWAHATI: The Government of India will revise loans up to ₹7.5 lakh under the Model Skill Loan Scheme, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in the Union Budget today, July 23.

E-vouchers for loans up to ₹10 lakh will also be provided for higher education in domestic institutions to be given directly to 1 lakh students annually with a yearly interest subvention of 3% of the loan amount.
The Union Budget is currently being presented in the Lok Sabha by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
