GUWAHATI: In a bid to enhance the experience for pilgrims and tourists, the revered Kamakhya Temple is set to introduce an online ticket service, streamlining access for its visitors.
Speaking to G Plus, a senior official of Kamakhya Devalaya revealed that the process of implementing this digital ticketing system is already in progress.
The introduction of online ticketing marks a significant step forward for the iconic temple, which attracts a multitude of devotees and sightseers annually. The initiative aims to alleviate the often chaotic rush at the temple entrance, allowing travellers to secure their tickets in advance and better plan their visits.
"The process of online ticket service is ongoing. This service will be easier for tourists who come from outside Guwahati or Assam. They can book online tickets beforehand so that there's no rush", the senior official of Kamakhya Devalaya told G Plus.
