GUWAHATI: In a groundbreaking development, Kamakhya Temple is set to receive a cutting-edge radiant cooling system, a technological marvel aimed at enhancing visitor comfort and preserving the historical edifice. The announcement was made by Kamakhya Devalaya official in an exclusive statement to G Plus.
Speaking to G Plus, the contractor explained the innovative system.
He stated, "The radiant cooling system is designed to maintain a cool temperature by harnessing the heat emitted from above. This ingenious mechanism involves two chillers that will circulate chilled water through a network of pipes embedded within the temple's floor stones. As a result, the stones themselves will serve as conduits for generating a soothing cooling effect."
Anticipation is high as the temple authorities aim to complete this ambitious project in time for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations. "We are optimistic about the project's timeline and are working diligently to ensure its completion before the revered festival," the contractor affirmed.
