GUWAHATI: Rajya Sabha member and actor Jaya Bachchan and Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar got involved in a heated debate during a session on August 9.
Bachchan accused the Vice President of speaking in an "unacceptable" tone, saying it was not right. Losing his cool, Dhankhar said "You can be a celebrity but accept decorum..."
Following this, the Opposition Members, including Jaya Bachchan, walked out of the Rajya Sabha.
After the heated argument, Bachchan spoke to the media and stated that she seeks an apology from the Vice President.
