GUWAHATI: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has been elected unopposed as the next chairman of the International Cricket Council.

This was announced by the ICC on August 27, a few days after reports of Shah's nomination broke out.
Shah will assume his new position on December 1, after the end of the tenure of current ICC Chairman Greg Barclay.
