GUWAHATI: The 11th season of the Indian Super League (ISL) kicks off on Friday, September 21, with a high-stakes opener between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mumbai City FC at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium.

This clash is a rematch of last season’s final, in which Mumbai City FC defeated Mohun Bagan to secure the ISL Cup. Mohun Bagan, the previous season’s ISL Shield winners, will be aiming for redemption against the reigning champions.
The match, scheduled for 7:30 PM, will be broadcast on Sports18 and streamed live on JioCinema.
Additionally, the 103-year-old club Mohammedan Sporting Club joins the league as the 13th team this season, having earned promotion after winning the I-League.
