IShowSpeed Banned From YouTube For Two Weeks Over Unsafe Stunt Video

 

GUWAHATI: Popular YouTuber IShowSpeed has been reportedly banned from YouTube for two weeks following a recent video that allegedly violated community guidelines.

The video featured a sports car stunt with him jumping over a Lamborgini and a McLaren that was deemed unsafe and in violation of YouTube's policies. 

This has resulted in his channel being temporarily suspended, impacting his millions of followers.IShowSpeed has earlier faced a two-year ban from Twitch and was also recently banned on PlayStation.

In response to his ban, IShowSpeed voiced his frustration and reassured his fans saying, "Hey guys, if y’all are watching this right now, I’m banned on YouTube on my main channel. I cannot stream or do anything, guys. I just wanted to let y’all know. I love y’all, bro."

According to Game Rant, this announcement followed his editor’s post on X, which revealed an active Community Guidelines strike on their channel.

Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed or simply Speed, is one of YouTube's top creators, boasting over 27 million subscribers. His content, which includes gaming and IRL streams, is famous for its chaotic nature and occasional risky situations. Last month, while streaming in Europe, IShowSpeed was surrounded by fans and had to spend $50,000 on car repairs due to the incident. Despite the controversies, he has continued to regularly post content on YouTube. However, he is now facing a hiatus from streaming due to a recent ban.
