GUWAHATI: The Indian Women's Cricket team won the first T20 match in their series against Bangladesh by 44 runs on April 28 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh.

The Indian Cricket team won the toss and opted to bat first, scoring 145 runs against 7 wickets.

Subsequently, the Indian bowlers, led by Renuka Singh, displayed a stunning performance taking four wickets in the first 30 runs, and bowling out Bangladesh at only 101 runs.
The Indian national women’s cricket team led by Harmanpreet Kaur is currently on tour to Bangladesh for a five-match WT20I series.
The remaining four matches of the series will also be played at the Sylhet Cricket Stadium on April 30, May 2, May 6, and May 9 respectively.
