GUWAHATI: A number of Indian and Pakistani students at Oxford University held a protest against war between the two countries amongst growing tensions after the Pulwama attack.
Approximately 100 nationals from both the countries took part in the “Indo-Pakistan Solidarity Demonstration” outside Radcliffe Camera, one of Oxford’s iconic landmarks.
The protestors held placards that read, “This is not our war,” “no to war.” They also read out anti-war poems in Bengali, Urdu, Punjabi and English and sang Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s nazm “Hum Dekhenge.”
