GUWAHATI: The police conducted an operation resulting in the seizure of a huge consignment of suspected heroin on November 23.
The operation conducted under the Inspector in Charge (IC) Balajan OP, in which over 100 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of ₹70 lakh was seized. The operation also led to the arrest of three individuals involved in the illegal drug trade.
During the operation, the police team not only confiscated a significant quantity of heroin but also seized a car believed to be associated with the drug peddling activities.
