GUWAHATI: The captain of the Mumbai Indians team, Hardik Pandya, finally opened up to his fans after facing criticism, owing to the team’s loss to Rajasthan Royals. Amidst these tough times, he also had to face rising questions regarding his captaincy decisions. In a cryptic post made on his official X account, Pandya stated that they will never give up, and will keep fighting.

“If there's one thing you should know about this team, we never give up. We'll keep fighting, we'll keep going,” Pandya said on X today.

Monday's match saw Rajasthan Royals winning the toss and choosing to bowl first as they restricted Mumbai Indians to 125 runs for nine wickets. Rajasthan Royals chased down the target in only 16 overs, as Assam's cricketing talent Riyan Parag scored 54 runs off 39 balls which made him the tournament’s highest run scorer and earned him the Orange Cap.
Rajasthan Royals thus handed Mumbai Indians their third loss in a raw, this IPL 2024, thus marking it as disastrous start for MI.
