After Delhi, a cafe in Guwahati is all set to host its first celebrity look-alike contest, and the buzz has quickly spread across social media, gaining national attention.
The Ajay 'DeVegan' Look-Alike Contest will take place at Lush The Cafe on December 28, where participants will channel their inner Ajay Devgn from the 1980s by dressing up as the Bollywood icon, recreating viral memes in his signature style, showcasing his iconic dance moves, and testing their knowledge of Devgn trivia.
Following the announcement of the Ajay Devgn look-alike contest, the story gained traction, with several media outlets, including national networks, picking it up.
The phenomenon first gained international attention after a Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest was held in New York in October. The actor's surprise appearance at the event, along with viral images and videos, sparked a global wave of celebrity look-alike competitions.
Inspired by this global trend, India hosted its first Abhay Deol look-alike contest in Delhi, and now Guwahati is following suit.
The winner of the Ajay 'DeVegan' Look-Alike Contest at Lush The Cafe will walk away with a ₹3000 cash prize, a jar of their famous achaar (pickle), and an exclusive Ajay Devgn poster.
