GUWAHATI: Following a major transformer fault at the Satpukhuri WTP, near Governor House water supply will be affected in Chandmari, Kharguli and surrounding areas.
It is to be mentioned that according to a notification by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation it said, "Guwahati Municipal Corporation would like to notify its valued consumers and public in Chandmari,kharguli and surrounding areas that there will be an interruption in water supply for few days due to transformer burning at Satpukhuri WTP,near Governor House."
Meanwhile technical team is on the ground to ensure the water supply is restored at the earliest.
GMC has urged the residents of this area to bear with the Corporation till the restoration process is completed.
